Michael Dennis Isley passed into heaven on August 21, 2013 and went home to be with the Lord. His life had just begun and his sufferings here on earth have ended. He is with his grandfather and grandmother Isley.
Michael was born on February 19th, 1954 in Guilford County. Michael loved life, people and animals. He accepted everyone for who they were. His love for life was to please his family. We will miss his laugh and funny jokes. Michael graduated from Parkland High School in Winston Salem, NC in June, 1973. He was a genius at anything he did; fine artist, a craftsman with wood and an easel. There are so many things in life to mention that he could do.
He worked for Motel 6 in Burlington, NC for several years as maintenance supertendant. He spent his last days at home with his friends and family and passed away in his sleep. Mike, we’ll miss you but we know you are in heaven.
Those left to cherish his memory are his son, Ryan Dennis Isley; two grandchildren, Tyler and Jordan Isley; his mother, Mary Ann Deaton and father, Hubert D. Isley; sisters, Patricia Isley Ragan and Karen Denise Lemons; brother, Wesley Lane Isley. His mother Mary and sister Patricia want to give a special thank you and love to Roger and Brandy Page. They were Mike’s second family who loved and cared for Mike, loving him like a father. Mike loved their three children dearly, Zachary Moore, Alexis Page and Kyle Page.
Graveside services will be held on Monday, 2:00 p.m. at Guilford Memorial Park. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service on Monday at Hanes Lineberry Sedgefield Chapel.
Memorials may be made to Mt. Hope Baptist Church, PO Box 130, McLeansville, NC 27301.
