Linda S. Marion

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, June 6 at Jamestown United Methodist Church, 403 E. Main Street, Jamestown, NC 27282. The family will receive friends immediately following the service in the Fellowship Hall.

Linda was born in Catawba County on September 30, 1940. She worked for many years as an independent sales representative of furniture accessories and worked many years at the High Point Furniture Market. She also worked for Koury Corporation up until her death.

Linda loved her family, her friends, and many business associates. She loved her plants, the outdoors, traveling, and her animals.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Anna and Donald Stevenson, and her brothers, Ronald and James Stevenson. She is survived by her daughter, Julie Rook (Mike), and her son, Brent Starnes; Granddaughters, Michelle Cook and Anna Rook, and Great Grandson, Mason Stone. She leaves behind many loving and caring friends.

In lieu of flowers Linda asked that donations be made to: The Guilford County Animal Shelter, The SPCA, or to the Cancer Center at Wesley Long Community Hospital.
