On August 29, 2016 Larry Wayne Fogleman took his last breath and joined his wife Elaine Fogleman of 13 beautiful years, in Heaven. Larry was a quiet man but had much knowledge that he shared when prompted. He was a graduate of Alamance High School and went on to have a career with the Army Military National Guard for 7 years. After his honorable discharge, he went on to do various positions within the world of being a courier working alongside his close friend, Jim Rush. He is preceded in death by his father Ernest, his mother Lillie Marie, his brother Robert and his best friend and wife Elaine Fogleman. Leaving behind to continue celebrating his life and loving on his memory are his daughters, Tricia Crabtree, Melissa Williamson (Glen) and Amy Williams (Dwayne), 5 grandsons. His sister Florence of Valdese, sister in law Jackie of Pleasant Garden, nieces and nephews. While Larry will be missed, his memory and love for Nascar, a little snack every now and then, a good nap and older collector cars will live on through his family and friends.
Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday at the Hanes-Lineberry Funeral Home Sedgefield Chapel, 6000 West Gate City Blvd., Greensboro, NC 27407 conducted by Sam White. Interment with Military Honors by the Randolph County Honor Guard will follow in Guilford Memorial Park. The family will receive friends with a reception at the funeral home on Friday from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m.
In lieu of the customary remembrances, the family requests with gratitude that memorial contributions in Larry’s memory be made to the Hospice and Palliative Care of Greensboro, 2500 Summit Ave., Greensboro, NC 27405
