Ken was born at Duke Hospital and raised in Reidsville, NC.
A funeral service will be held at Temple Emanuel on Jefferson Rd on Monday, October 14 at 10:30 a.m., A graveside service will follow at Greensboro Hebrew Cemetery on Gate City Blvd.
A lifetime member of Temple Emanuel, Ken sat on the Board of Trustees, served as President of the Brotherhood and volunteered at every opportunity. He was a role model who encouraged others to serve their community. Ken was a member of the National Railway Historical Society, State Chair of NC Hillel and held many offices during his business career in fashion.
He leaves to cherish his memory, his wife of sixty-one years, Ina, his children, Jay Eisenberg and Lea Coleman (Justin), his grandchildren, Rachael Valentine (James) and Sam and Lilly Eisenberg, his brother Barry Eisenberg (Lynn), his sister-in-law Kay Robins (Bruce) and several nieces and nephews.
The family wishes to express gratitude to the Bayada caretakers, Team Ken, and to Dr. Pat O'Brien at Wake Med Rehab Center in Raleigh.
