Juanita York King

Juanita was born on August 30, 1923 in Greensboro, the daughter of Andrew Jackson and Lula McGee York. She worked at the Jamestown Mill and Phillips Velvet Mills until her retirement. During WW II, she married the love of her life, William J. “Bill” King. Juanita was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She will be deeply missed.

Juanita was preceded in death by two daughters; Brenda Jean Willard and Janet Lee King and five sisters. She is survived by her loving husband, Bill King; grandchildren, Joyie Haines of Thomasville, NC and Jeffrey Meadows of Randleman; great grandchildren, Cody Church of Thomasville, NC and Kylee Meadows of Randleman.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, 2:00 p.m. at Hanes Lineberry Sedgefield Chapel with burial to follow at Forest Lawn Cemetery in Greensboro. The family will receive friends on Monday evening from 6 to 8 p.m. at Hanes Lineberry Sedgefield Chapel.
