Joseph J. Yager passed away on December 10, 2017 at his home in Greensboro. He was born in Brooklyn, New York. He served his country in the Coast Guard which was part of the Navy during World War II. He was self employed.
He is survived by his wife of 68 years, Maxine L. Yager of the home; daughter, Charlene Carr and son, Dr. Jerry Yager and wife Lauren; four grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
