John Wesley Johnson, 58, passed away on Wednesday, November 21, 2018 at his home after a courageous battle with cancer. Wesley was born on December 26, 1959 in Guilford County, NC, the son of Ralph W. and Julia Glass Johnson. Wesley worked with the Greensboro Parks and Recreation. He loved to hunt, fish, play a round of golf and cook. He was a loving husband, father, brother, step-father, and friend to many. He will be deeply missed.
Wesley was preceded in death by his brothers; Wayne Goad, Charles (Larry) Goad, and Jerry Goad. Those left to cherish his memory are his loving wife Susan M. Johnson; son, John Johnson; brothers, Jimmy Goad, David Goad; grandchild, Blake Johnson; step children, Terry Fagg, Jennifer Johnson and Pam Mize.
Graveside Services will be held on Sunday, November 25, 2018, 3:30 pm at Guilford Memorial Park with Rev. Eugene Dean officiating. The family will receive friends from 2:30 till service time at Hanes Lineberry Funeral Home
