Janice Hudson Morris, age 81, of Greensboro, NC passed away peacefully September 6th, 2022 after a long battle with lung cancer. A faithful follower of Jesus, she is now joined with her Savior in heaven. She was born January 6th, 1941 to the late Hunter McGinnis Hudson and Gertrude Glasscock Hudson of Clarksville, VA. Janice was preceded in death by the love of her life, husband Robert Gene Morris. Left to cherish her memory are her daughters Laura Park (Stan) and Anne Landry (Pearce) along with grandchildren Pearce Landry II, Robert Landry, Marshall Landry, Meredith Park and Sarah Park. She is also survived by her best friend and partner in crime Lavonne Pickens (Bill). Last but not least, she is survived by her faithful canine companion, Precious.
A special thanks to her caregivers Lashena Brooks and Cindy Plymale and all of the wonderful Authoracare volunteers.
Janice worked many years as a nurse in the Guilford County school system. She will be remembered for her love of laughter, gardening, cooking, and a good glass of chardonnay.
A celebration of life will be held at Mt. Pisgah United Methodist Church at 10 AM Friday Sept 9, 2022 followed by a reception in the fellowship hall. Memorials may be made to Mt. Pisgah UMC.
