Icelean K. “Queenie” Miller, 84, passed away on Sunday, Feb. 28, 2009 at Moses Cone Hospital. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, 1:00 pm at Hanes Lineberry Sedgefield Chapel. Burial will follow at Guilford Memorial Park.
Icelean was born on July, 14, 1925, the daughter of Ernie and Victoria Mitchell Knowles. She retired after 34 years of service with Lorillard Tobacco. She was a former member of Glenwood Friends Meeting and more recently a member of Reedy Fork Baptist Church.
Icelean was preceded in death by her husband and parents. Those left to cherish her memory are her daughter, Delois Greene of Greensboro, NC; grandchildren, Edward B. “Chip” Caudle and Mark Greene, both of Greensboro, NC ; great grandchildren, Samantha Caudle and Chase Greene; sister, Elma B. Peoples of Greensboro, NC and a special friend, Tina Parker.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday evening from 6:30 to 8:30 at Hanes Lineberry Sedgefield Chapel.
