Gail was born on May 4, 1945 in Charlotte, NC, the daughter of Harvey and Sadie Brewer Philemon. She was employed with Barker Claim Services for the last ten years.
Gail was a loving mother, grandmother and sister. She enjoyed spending time with her family and on Sunday afternoons, NASCAR. She will be deeply missed by all.
Gail is survived by her two children; Mark E. Kirkman and wife Donna of Jamestown, NC and Cindy Watts and husband Donny of Greensboro, NC; sister, Shirley Richmond of Sophia, NC; grandchildren; Joshua Kirkman, Jordan Kirkman, Alex Watts and Makenzie Watts and two special nieces, Molly Pendry and husband Larry of High Point, NC. And Susie Ballew and husband Mike of Stokesdale, NC.
On Thursday evening, from 6 to 8 p.m., the family will gather at Hanes Lineberry Sedgefield Chapel to remember and celebrate Gail’s life.
