A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Monday, October 18, 2021 at 11:00 a.m., at Saint Pius X Catholic Church, 2210 N. Elm St., Greensboro, NC 27408. Burial will follow at Holy Cross Catholic Church Cemetery in Kernersville, NC.
Frank was born May 24, 1928 in Mount Hope, NJ, the son of Frank and Mary Payda Sestak.
Frank was a WWII US Navy veteran. Following his service, he graduated in 1954 from Clarkson College, where he received his degree in Mechanical Engineering. He spent most of his career with Stone & Webster Engineering Corporation. He was a member of Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church in Sharon, MA and was an avid Boston team’s sports fan. Frank enjoyed spending his time outdoors, but especially with his family. He will be missed by his family and many friends.
Those left to cherish his memory include his wife, Ann Powers Sestak; children, Jane Brazeau (Paul) of Greensboro, Peter Sestak (Roberta Roberts) of Atlanta, GA, Mark Sestak (Kim) of Mansfield, MA, Ted Sestak (Kathy) of Nyack, NY and Nancy Sestak (Erik Wilkinson) of Atlanta, GA; grandchildren, Michael, Andrew and Mia Brazeau, Kaitlyn, Kristen and Mike Sestak, and Jack, Kevin and Matthew Sestak.
