Ella Mae Sutphin

Ella Mae Sutphin, 90, passed away Monday, December 17, 2018. The family will receive friends from 12 to 1:15 PM, Thursday, December 20 at Hanes-Lineberry N. Elm chapel followed by a private graveside service.

Ms. Sutphin was born in Meadows of Dan, VA to the late Louis and Manila Radford. She is survived by her daughter, Brenda Shaw and husband Bill of Daleville, VA and son, Joe Sutphin and wife Fonda of Randleman, NC; two grandsons, Dustin Sutphin and fiancé Sarah Caudle and Brandon Sutphin and wife Jennifer; one granddaughter, Kelly Sutphin; two great-grandchildren, Michael and Kristen; and sister, Elsie Griffin of Hillsville, VA.

She was a dedicated member of Calvary Baptist Church in McLeansville for approximately 45 years.

The family would like to thank Dr. Scott Nadel for his years of care and a special thanks to Sarah, Karen, Mary and all the caregivers that lovingly took care of Ella during the last months.
