Mr. Edward Gene Wright, 69, of McLeansville, died Wednesday, September 5, 2012 at his home.
A graveside service with full military honors will be held Sunday, 2:00 p.m., at Lakeview Memorial Park by Pastor Stephen Bishop.
Edward was born August 15, 1943 in Harriman, TN, the son of Arthur Lee Wright and Maudie Bray Wright.
Edward was a veteran of the US Army, serving in Vietnam. He was a supervisor for Thurston Motor Lines and enjoyed creating crafts and fishing.
In addition to his parents, Edward was preceded in death by his son, Edward Eugene Wright.
Surviving are his wife, Alice Wright; daughter, Polly Baker and husband Barry; son, William Wright, all of McLeansville; sister, Linda LaFond of Grand Prix, TX; grandchildren, Nikki Jones, Kasey Clay, Elizabeth Baker, William Wright, Jr., Kristin Wright, Camryn Wright, Edward Wright, Jr., and Jessica Caitlyn Wright; 4 great grandchildren.
Friends will be received Saturday, 6:00-8:00 p.m., at Hanes-Lineberry Vanstory Chapel.
