Diane Greeson Murphy

Mrs. Patricia Diane Greeson Murphy, 63, a resident of Greensboro died on Friday May 8, 2015 at Forsyth Medical Center in Winston-Salem. Diane was born February 10, 1952 in Greensboro the daughter of James Robert and Trudy Mae Mabe Greeson.

She was a graduate of Northwest Guilford High School. Diane was a former employee with Eagle’s Physicians in Greensboro where she worked in medical records. She attended True Light Baptist Church in Lexington.

On July 25, 1970 she was married to Roy Lee Murphy. Surviving in addition to her husband Roy of the home are two daughters, Lorrie M. Lindsey and husband Cecil and Patricia M. Graves and husband Keith all of Greensboro; six half-brothers, Jimmy Greeson, Donnie, Ronnie, B.W., Ray and Timmy Anderson; four grandchildren, Dillon Preteska, Harley Murphy, Damien Graves, Kimberlee Lindsey and extended step grandchildren and their families.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday at the Hanes-Lineberry Funeral Home Sedgefield Chapel conducted by Pastor Harold Harper. Interment will follow in Guilford Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday from 10:00 a.m. until service time.
