Catherine Lynn Dixon

Catherine Lynn Dixon, 59, received her final reward as she was welcomed into heaven to join her beloved parents on March 1, 2023. Cathy was born in Orlando, Florida and raised in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida where she attended Westminster Academy graduating in the top of her class. After relocating to Greensboro, North Carolina Cathy obtained her degree from the University of North Carolina. Cathy retired from American Express where she held many positions as she advanced in the company.

Cathy was an only child and a devoted daughter, caring for both of her parents at the end of their lives. She was dedicated to her little Yorkies and loved by her friends and family.

Cathy was a member of Grace Community Church, and she loved the Lord her God. While Cathy will be greatly missed by those who knew and loved her, she is in her forever home with so many of her family members and she is no doubt rejoicing before the Father.

Cathy was predeceased by her father, Donald Lloyd Dixon and mother Sally Connell Dixon, as well as other family members. She is survived by her cousins, Carolyn Gause LeBoeuf, husband Dean and children Ryan LeBoeuf (Julia) and Nicole Whitaker (Nick), Jeffrey Curtis Gause and wife Kelly and Craig Connell. She is also greatly missed by her treasured friends, especially Jackie Tester who was her chosen sister and Greg Foster who tirelessly assisted Sally and Cathy after the loss of Cathy’s father.

No services will be held per Cathy’s request. Hanes Lineberry North Elm Funeral Home is assisting the family.
