Carol D. Williams

.Carol Ann Williams passed away on July 1, 2016 at Beacon Place in Greensboro, She was born on October 7, 1942 in Star, NC to the late Schylar and Myrtle Davis. On October 15, 1961m she married the love of her life, George and they enjoyed 53 loving years of marriage.

She retired from Faith Wesleyan Child Care. She enjoyed traveling, playing cards and gambling with the penny and nickel machines. Her infectious smile was one to remember. She also loved spending time with her family and cherished her children and spoiling her grandchildren and spoiling rotten her great grandchildren!

She was preceded in death by her husband George, sister Eileen and brother Charles. Carol is survived by her sister, Doris Carpenter of Midland, NC; two children, Andy (Ann) Williams of Greensboro, NC and Phylis Williams Hilling of North Myrtle Beach SC; four grandchildren, Terry (Lavon) Hines, Kathy (Chris) Youngpeter, Courtney Hilling (John McGarva), Caitlin Hilling and three great grandchildren, Wade Hines, Cayden and Emilynn Youngpeter.

A Celebration of her Life will be held on Sunday, 3:00 p.m. at Hanes Lineberry Sedgefield Chapel. The family will receive friends from 2:00 to 3:00 pm Sunday before the service.
