Annie "Ann" Mae (Hamblin) Bolton

A memorial service celebrating Ann's life will be held on Saturday, December 2, 2023 at 11:30 am at New Covenant Church, 4706 Alliance Church Rd., Pleasant Garden, NC 27313. The family will receive friends and loved ones prior to the service from 11:00 until 11:30 am, at the church.

Ann was born in Wytheville, Virginia on January 10, 1949 to the late Leonard Hamblin and Emma Millirons Hamblin. She was a devoted Christian and Prayer Warrior and even during her sickness, continued the church's prayer chain. She loved the Lord and had a passion for children. Ann was State Certified in Early Childcare. She was the Child Care Director for Covenant Christian Day School for many years. Ann enjoyed crafting in her spare time. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend who was loved by many and will be missed by all who knew her.

Those left to cherish her memory include her husband of 51 years, Jackie R. Bolton; daughters, Cynthia Goe (Reed) of Charlotte, NC and Phyllis Simons (Richard Love) of Burlington, NC; sisters, Christine Distelhorst (Bill) of Elon, NC, and Vanessa Fletcher (Mike) of Richmond, VA; brother, Johnny Hamblin (Bonnie) of Sophia, NC; grandchildren, Makayla Goe Esteves, Reedy Goe, Sky Bolton, Sam Simons and Alanna Simons; and other extended family and friends.
