He was retired from Magnavox as a Maintenance Supervisor and was a lifelong farmer, who loved his animals, especially his pet bull.
He was a member of Pine Grove United Methodist Church.
Willis is survived by his wife Teresa Gregg; one daughter and son-in-law, Kelly Gregg-Grno and her husband, Dave Grno of St Cloud, Florida; sister, Norma Gregg; his wife’s children, Brandi Fannon and Andy Fannon; and two grandchildren, Anderson Fannon and Jameson Fannon.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Calvin Willis and Grace Henry Gregg; his first wife of 53 years, Lois Gregg; his sister-in-law, June Colyer; and brother-in-law, Ronnie Colyer.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, from 3 – 7 pm at Kiser-Rose Hill Funeral Home.
Interment will be on Friday at 11 am in Mosheim Central Cemetery with Pastor Greg Burnett and Pastor Ralph Shipley officiating. Family and friends are asked to meet at Kiser-Rose Hill Funeral Home at 10 am on Friday to go in procession to the cemetery.
The family wishes to extend a special thanks to the staff of Amedisys Hospice and special caregiver, Mitzi Kemp and the Employees of Greeneville Roto-Rooter.
In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be given to the Greeneville-Greene County Humane Society, 950 Hal Henard Rd, Greeneville, Tennessee 37743.
Family and friends will be pallbearers.
