She retired from Greene Valley Developmental Center.
Mrs. Conner was a member of the Jehovah Witness Congregation.
She was a loving wife and mother. She was deeply loved by all who knew her and she enjoyed talking to others about her faith, raising flowers, gardening, and being with her family and friends.
Survivors include a daughter and caregiver: Sandra Justis and husband, Mike; three sons and daughters-in-law: Danny and Ola Faye Conner, Randy and Barbara Conner, Tommy and JoAnn Conner; six grandchildren and spouses: Michelle and Ron Fitzsimmons, Kristen and Neal Blair, Jonathan Justis, Whitney and Jacob Hause, Benjamin Conner and Chelsey Conner; a great grandson: Robert Daniel Blair; a sister: Trula Gahagan; sister-in-law: Nellie Dodd; two brothers-in-law: Delbert Conner and Harvey Conner; several nieces and nephews; and her special friends: Luther and Dianne Malone, Anita Gibson, Sophia Uhls, and many others too numerous to mention.
She was the daughter of the late Leroy and Della Bishop and was preceded in death by her husband, Wilmer Conner; two daughters, Mary Etta Conner and Ina Lee Conner; three sisters: Veva Ramsey, Ivory Long, and L. D. Sluder; and two brothers, Gladson Bishop and McCoy Bishop.
The family will receive friends 2-4 and 6-8 pm Thursday at Kiser-Rose Hill Funeral Home.
The funeral service will be held at 2:30 pm Friday in the funeral home chapel with Esco Manuel and Richard Robinson officiating.
Interment will follow in GreeneLawn Memory Gardens.
Pallbearers will be Ron Fitzsimmons, Joshua Gibson, James Gibson, Dewayne Stanton, David Shelton, Jason Saylor, and David Saylor..
Honorary Pallbearers are Dr. Aasheim, Dr. Hoppe, and Dr. Shaw.
