He was a farmer and logger.
Mr. Ricker attended Burnetts Chapel Missionary Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife of 64 years: Faye Ricker; a daughter and son-in-law: Vickie and Steve Massey of Baileyton; son and daughter-in-law: Wayne and Brenda Ricker of Camp Creek Community; two grandsons and spouses: Scottie and Tammy Ricker and Todd and Brandi Ricker; three great grandchildren who were his pride and joy: Bailey, “Little T” and Cassie Ricker; nieces and nephews who were faithful to visit: Gary and Linda Massey of South Carolina, Larry and Pat Massey, Phyllis Massey and Lynn Ricker; and friends faithful to visit: Tommy and Dot Melton.
He was the son of the late William Floyd and Rilla Stills Ricker and was preceded in death by three sisters and brothers-in-law: Dean and Freeman Massey, Hazel and Cance Cutshaw, and Helen and Lonnie Sexton.
The family will receive friends 4-7 pm Thursday and 5-8 pm Friday at Kiser-Rose Hill Funeral Home.
The funeral service will be held at 2 pm Saturday, April 9, 2016, in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Todd Ricker officiating.
Interment will follow in Burnetts Chapel Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Gary Massey, Lynn Ricker, Lynn Jones, Jay Lynn Stills, Larry Ledford and William Ricker.
Honorary Pallbearers are Larry Massey, Roy Ricker, Earl Fox, Eb Darnell, Wince Fann, Tommy Melton and Stevie Cutshaw.
