He was a member of Pine Grove Free Will Baptist Church.
Bill was a welder.
He loved gardening and did so as long as he was able. Bill is now reunited with his beloved dog and special buddy, Moses.
Survivors include his daughter: Amy Taylor of Greeneville; son: Heath Laws of the home; step daughter and husband: Tammy and Mitchell Littleton of Hawkins County; grandchildren: Casey Taylor, Robert Taylor, David Taylor, Zeke and Zack Littleton; great grandchildren: Airyona Doss, Daryus Brotherton, Kaydence Taylor, Draven Taylor, Madison Taylor, Pyper Penley, Caden Penley, Liam Littleton, and Adeline Littleton; ex-wives: Phyllis Stowers and Ann Henderson; sisters-in-law and their spouses: Betty Bailey of the Lost Mountain Community, Cookie and Ray Barkley of Greeneville, Mrs. Phyllis Laws of Greeneville; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his wife: Norma “Tinsie” Morelock Laws; his parents: Clinton and Katherine Laws; two brothers: Roger and Jim Laws; and a sister: Betty Cottle.
The family will receive friends from 2pm-4pm and 6pm-8pm Tuesday at Kiser-Rose Hill Funeral Home.
Following visitation, the funeral service will be held at 8:00 pm Tuesday in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Side Barkley officiating.
Interment will be at 11:00 am Wednesday in Pine Grove Cemetery. Family and friends are asked to meet at 10am Wednesday at the funeral home to go in procession to the cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Daryl Caldwell, Tim Bailey, Tony Bailey, Mark Laws, Max Laws, Zeke and Zack Littleton, Johnny Light, David Taylor, and Robert Taylor.
Honorary pallbearers are Roger Johnson, Dr. E.B. Smith, and the members of the Men’s Sunday School Class of Pine Grove FWB Church.
