She was a homemaker.
Mrs. Rader was a member of Lord’s Tabernacle Church and a volunteer at STEP, INC. as long as her health permitted.
“Survivors include her children who took care of her at home until she went to meet Jesus”: a son and daughter-in-law: Mike and Charlotte Rader; two daughters and sons-in-law: Diane and David Fair, Donna and David Jennings; grandchildren: Brandee Fair, Chad Rader, Cody Jennings, and Josh Jennings; great grandchildren: Vonozsa Davis, Havoc Fair, Dakota Jennings, and Zoey Jennings; two sisters and a brother-in-law: Irene Stills, Gaye and Rev. Buster Shelton; two brothers and three sisters-in-law: Linton and Barbara Stills, Gene and Alyne Stills, and Ethel Stills; special caregivers: Zoe Simmons and Ronda Way.
Born April 3, 1937, she was the daughter of the late Carl and Dora Stills and was preceded in
death by her husband of 53 years, Mayford Rader; four brothers, Mack, Raymond, Hoover, and
Clarence Stills.
The funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, March 2, 2011, in the Kiser Rose Hill Chapel. Rev. Buster Shelton will officiate. Interment will follow in New Bethel Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Chad Rader, Josh Jennings, Dennis Fox, Richard Gosnell, Gary Shepherd, Doug Justice, and Haskell Stills.
Honorary pallbearers will be Dr. Richard Aasheim and staff, Amedisys Hospice staff: Margaret Lane, Monica Hare, and Shelby McLaughlin, Dr. Phillip Thwing, members of the Lord’s Tabernacle Church and Ladies Aide, staff of Takoma Regional Hospital.
The family will receive friends 1-3 and 7-9 p.m. Tuesday at Kiser Rose Hill Funeral Home.
