Sam, it has been 5 years since you left us and I’m sure you know, but your father passed away last week. You also may know that we are in the middle of a freakin’ pandemic. My mom and I drove down to your house in Greeneville just to turn around and come all the way back home because of fear of becoming sick. I can’t explain how much that shattered my soul Sam! Leaving your family during a time that I needed to be there for them has not sat well with me in the slightest. I miss them so much. I’m so thankful for the Youssif family for always running to tia Vita’s side, and I am thankful for the rest of our family who bravely traveled to Greeneville to be with your family once again. You know how much I love your mom and your brothers. They are MY mom & MY brothers. I know you miss them too, but now you are not alone, cuzzo. My beloved godfather has passed from us in order to be with you once again. He missed you every day since the day you left & he could not wait for the day to see you again, but I am writing here today to tell you that I believe you were both taken away too soon. I can’t swallow the thought of just never ever seeing my people again. Please share with me some strength and understanding during this time. 

You had so many gifts, so much talent, and I had so much more to learn from you. Our family is endlessly saddened to say goodbye to you and now your dad. I am writing to you 5 years later just to make sure you have heard my prayers every day and every night that I have sent up to you. Please watch over your brothers and your mom forever. Give them strength and send them a wave of positivity, please the Lord knows that they need it now more than ever.

I am so sorry for your loss. I honestly only found out last night. He was a joy to be around. His artwork is forever with me.

I've  come to this site 50 times to do this and never find the words. I may never have them I've come to realize.  
I'm still so very sorry for the family's loss of thier beloved Sam. 
I've had almost a month now to process this and still have a hard time. Sam was not just my friend, he was my other Sam as my brother is also a Sam. 
Being a mother, a sister, a grandmother, an aunt myself . The loss I know you must feel I can't imagine! 
Sam was an amazing person. He had this strange way of always being there with just what you needed, a joke, a hug, a smile, a song, a speech, or in my case he knew just when to say shut up throw something at me! Sam touched so many people of so many different ages and cultures from so many different places in the world in so many different ways it's truly amazing.  
Sam will always be with us all. 
Your family will always hold a special place in my heart as I know each of you were part of Sam.
Always here for any of you for any reason you may have.

Sam and I became friends when we worked together at Cingular. He was a riot and a joy to be around. He always made me laugh, which is such a beautiful trait to have. When he became a tattoo artist, he convinced me to let him give me a tattoo. I will always have a little piece of my good friend with me.
I didn't know he passed and I am extremely saddened to see this. He was a wonderful young man and my heart goes out to all his family and friends.

Will forever remember our road trips with the band and your infectious attitude that has made an impact on my life.

I don't even know where to start.  I guess first of all I loved Sam as one of my own.  He was such a precious person. I will never, never forget Sam coming to our house and he would always eat my "southern cooking".  He loved it. I remember him eating my gravy and biscuits and it was his first time eating it.  He loved it.   He and Rusty were always up to something.  No matter what they did they always laughed about it and made everyone else laugh.  I miss my son Rusty every day!!  I will also miss our Sam. He was so special to our family.  Jim and I just talked with him from Vegas.  
He was going to come see us....I guess we will have to go see him and Rusty one day.  God bless his family. I wish I could tell you this was going to be easy but I would be lying!!! 
It is the hardest thing I have ever done in my life....losing my son.  SOON AND VERY SOON we will all be together again.

Sam, we became pretty good buds over the last 10 years. We had good conversations filled with laughter and smiles. You always cracked jokes on me lol. Gonna miss ya bud. Keep tattooing in heaven.  Prayers for you're family and friends.

We will never forget your laughs, your open heart and your always helpful and caring soul. You were an example how we should interact with people and take care of each other. Every moment and conversation with you made us feel comfortable and let us grow. I worked with Sam in Las Vegas the past year.  We became good friends over the last 5-6 months.  Please know that he made me smile every time we worked together.  He was taken from all of us too soon.  I send my deepest condolences to Sam's family and friends.  He was loved and appreciated here in Las Vegas.  I am sorry for your loss.

Sam, you were a shining star in this dark world. Your sarcasm, wit, humor, compulsive ways, endless talent and intelligence kept me on my toes. I have nothing but years of amazing memories that will never fade. I loved you for all of you. You are my soul mate in a friend and cousin. My couch, basement, fridge, heart, husband, children and world will never look or feel the same without you. You taught me some of the most mind blowing things that have changed me forever, as well as some hilarious, odd and useless information. I hope there is tons of bread, soda, chilean food, abd your beard grows down to the floor where you are. This world was never big enough for your beauty. I hear you in every song, I feel you in every breeze and smell you in every bottle of Jean nate. You will be forever missed and always remembered. I feel so lucky and grateful to have known you the ways that I do. You were perfectly imperfect. So sorry for your loss. Sam was amazing person and friend and his life ended way too early. He left with me many fun and great memories of our time together. He used to randomly come and get me to take me and do "something adventurous" Thinking of you during this difficult time.
