He was a member of Notre Dame Catholic Church.
Samuel was an artist, singer, musician, writer, painter, and tattooist.
He had been a member of the Greeneville High School Choir and the wrestling team.
“Son, you fly to Heaven and your memory and values will always be our example.” Now in Heaven, you can see the wonderful color, song and the infinite wonder we still don’t know. God needed you to be a tenor in His celestial choir! “Our tears are tears of joy because you are with our Creator.”
Survivors include his parents: Samuel Sr. and Minerva Gajardo of Greeneville; brothers: Christopher and Edward Gajardo of Greeneville; grandmothers: Alondra Smith of Miami and Flor Gonzalez of Chile; aunts: Cristina Miranda and Isabel Thomas of New Jersey, Cecilia Tapia of Miami, Veronica Thomas of Arizona, and Leonora Gajardo of Chile; uncle: Marcos Ezquerro of Arizona; great aunt: Eliana Alarcon of Staten Island, New York; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and uncles.
The funeral service will be held at 12:00 pm Tuesday, October 13, 2015, at Notre Dame Catholic Church with Father Dan Whitman officiating.
Pallbearers will be John DeWitt, Samuel Gajardo Sr., and Mariella Bruzzi.
Honorary pallbearer is Dr. Phillip Thwing.
