She retired from Magnavox after 35 yrs. and was a homemaker.
Mrs. Crews attended Sunrise Baptist Church as long as her health permitted.
Survivors include one son and daughter-in-law: Bobby and Helen Crews of Mosheim; three grandchildren and their spouses: Kim and David Lamb of Mosheim, Misty and David Barkley of Greeneville, and Chris and Kandy Graham of Greeneville; three great grandchildren: Tanner Collins, Meghan Lamb, and Tyler Graham; and one sister-in-law: Irene Dalton of Whitesburg.
She was preceded in death by her husband: William Carter Crews; her parents: Alvin and Etta Mullendore Carter; two sisters: Keturah Gaynelle Carter and Eula Mae Waits; and a brother: J.K. Carter.
The family will receive friends from 6-8 pm Thursday preceding the funeral service at Kiser-Rose Hill Funeral Home.
Following visitation, the funeral service will be held at 8 pm Thursday in Kiser-Rose Hill Chapel with Rev. Richard Bowers.
Interment will follow at 10 am Friday at Willoughby Cemetery. It is requested that family and friends meet at the funeral home Friday at 9:00 am to go in procession to the cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Tommy Blazer, Kenny Blazer, George McCamey, Jimmy McCamey, Dustin Jeffers, and Alford Franklin.
Honorary pallbearers will be Leonard Ricker, Lynn Lamons, Randy Lamons, Kevin Ramsey, and Dr. Charles Montgomery.
The family wishes to express special thanks to her caregivers, Janice (Sissy) Ricker, Wanda Malone, and Janet Dyer.
