She was a member of Greeneville Church of Christ.
Ms. Mays worked in maintenance at Food City.
She was a member of the Over 55 Club at Roby Center.
She was a fine, decent Christian lady.
Survivors include a sister: Kathy Mays; two aunts: Jeanette Kimery of Erwin and Ina Ruth Freshour of Greeneville; and several cousins.
She was preceded in death by her parents, William and Katie Mays.
The family will receive friends from 2pm-4pm and 6pm-8pm Monday at Kiser-Rose Hill Funeral Home.
Following visitation, the funeral service will be held at 8:00 pm Monday in the funeral home chapel with Shave Hoover officiating.
Interment will be at 2:00 pm Tuesday in GreeneLawn Memory Gardens. Family and friends are asked to meet at the funeral home at 1 pm Tuesday to go in procession to the cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Cecil Ellenburg, David Nelson, Gary Cole, Terry Gilbert, Danny Lambert, and Mike McElroy.
