She was a retired employee of Magnavox (Five Rivers Electronics).
She was a member of Mt. Carmel United Methodist Church in South Central, where she enjoyed singing in the choir and was an avid supporter of all the activities at the church. She loved her church family.
Survivors include two daughters and sons-in-law: Patricia and George Bishop of South Central and Karen and Terry Britton of Afton; five grandchildren: Heath Bishop and wife, Mandy, Eric Bishop and wife, Ashley, Tera Willett and husband, Bobby, Talia Britton, and Trent Britton; seven great grandsons: Kamron Britton, Kingston Shell, Mathew Bishop, Caleb Bishop, Jayden Bishop, Grant Bishop, and Colin Bishop; special friends: cousin Geraldine Bowens, JoAnn Painter, Ronnie Brown, Charlene Tweed, Phyllis Girouard, and nephew Troy Scalf and wife, Cynthia; and a special care giver: Terry Britton.
She was the daughter of the late Ellis Duncan and Ollie Broyles and was preceded in death by her husband: Clyde J. Broyles; and a brother: Dick Scalf.
The family will receive friends 1 pm – 2:30 pm Sunday at Mt. Carmel United Methodist Church in South Central Community.
The funeral service will be held at 2:30 pm Sunday at the church with Pastor Richard Mullan and Michael Brown officiating.
Interment will follow in Liberty Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Troy Scalf, Bobby Willett, Matthew Scalf, Marcus Scalf, Eric Bishop, Heath Bishop, Dale Graham, and Trent Britton.
Honorary pallbearers are the men and women of Mt. Carmel United Methodist Church, Dr. Richard Pectol, Dr. Steven Prince, Dr. Andy Roberts, and the nurses and staff of Laughlin Wound Care Center.
