Norma Jean Bullock, age 78, passed away on Friday, January 23rd at Life Care Center of Greeneville.
Jean was born July 14, 1936 in Bluff City, Tennessee and resided in Bristol before moving to Greeneville in 1964. Jean was a sales associate and buyer for Parks Belk of Greeneville for many years.
Jean started a support group in Greene County for families of the mentally ill. She also served as a board member for the Nolichucky-Holston Area Mental Health Center.
She was a core member of Central Christian Church.
She was preceded in death by parents: Paul and Blanche; and brother: John O’Dell.
Survivors include her husband of 59 years: Henry Lee Bullock; son: Marty Bullock; son and daughter-in-law: Jeff and Darleen Bullock; brother: Ikey O’Dell; and sister: Susan Tomlinson.
The family will be receiving friends on Tuesday, January 27th from 4-8pm at Kiser-Rose Hill Funeral Home. A service honoring Jean will be held on Wednesday at 2pm at Kiser-Rose Hill Chapel with interment following at GreeneLawn Memory Gardens.
