Michael John Easterly

Michael never met a stranger. He was always happy and loved to joke around. There was never a dull moment while he was around. He was loved and will be dearly missed by everyone who knew him.

Survivors include his parents: Dayton and Brenda Easterly; brothers: Dayton Eldon Easterly and Billy Joe Easterly; special uncles and aunts: Tommy and Wanda Cutshaw, Ronnie Cutshaw, Denver and Sanna Easterly, Stanly and Linda Easterly, Geneva Crum, Maynard and Dorthy Mysinger; great aunt: Marie Ayers; many cousins; special friends: Becky Johnson, Jenny Givens, Brenda Bible/Busy, Tommy and Bernadine Blake, Steve and Bev Casteel, Janice Fann, Steve Fann and all his camping buddies; and his special pet: Max.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents: John and Lucilla Cutshaw and Eldon and Edna Easterly; a special aunt: Sue Cutshaw and a great aunt: Vesta Darnell.

The family will receive friends from 1:00-3:00 and 5:00-7:00 pm on Friday and Saturday at Kiser-Rose Hill Funeral Home.

The funeral service will be conducted at 1:30 pm Sunday, October 20, 2013, at Kiser-Rose Hill Chapel with Rev. Jim Fillers officiating.

Interment will follow in River Hill Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Roger Carter, David Stills, Matthew Gosnell, Greg Buckner, Tommy Schrock, Jeremiah Banks, Mark Darnell, and Brandon Dagem.

Honorary pallbearers will be Shane Buckner, Danny Crum, Jerry Mysinger, family, and friends.
