Mary Estella Hall

She was a Baptist by faith and a member of Friendship Baptist Church.

She worked in the food service industry for many years retiring from Tusculum College after over 10 years as the Asst. Sous Chef, a most rewarding career. During her time at Tusculum, a multitude of students knew her as “Mama” because she treated them as if they were one of her own. She also made an abundance of friends and family within the faculty members who continued to reach out to her.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her brothers, Daniel (Danny) R. Hall Jr., Anthony (Tony) Hall, George Hall and Robert Hall.

She is survived by her children all of Greeneville: Bridget Hall (Paul), Angela Hall-Lee (Trevor), and only son, Jeremy; siblings: William “Eddie” Hall, Amy L. Hall, Ada Hall-Jackson, Walter F. Hall, Roberta K. Hall, John Brent Hall, Phillip P Hall and Kenneth Blakely; grandchildren: Aimee, Trevon, Zakia, Trevonte’, Mack, JP, Brandon and Jordan; six great grandchildren: Sidney, Bryna, Hadlee, Roman, Kyrie and Draven; more than 30 nieces and nephews, cousins, and special friends: Denise Walker, Billy Dabbs (Anissa), Leah Burdette, Valerie Moore, Diane Cohen and so many other.

The family will receive friends next Saturday, August 3, 2024 from 4:00-7:00 pm at Kiser-Rose Hill Funeral Home. The memorial service will be held at 7:00 pm in the funeral home chapel. Rev Cecil Mills Jr. will be officiating the service, with special prayers by Scottie Cox.

Honorary pallbearers will be Al Jefferson, Ben Murphy, Quinlan Fitts, Steven (Snoop) Hall, Micheal Linn Anderson, Billy Dabbs, Eddie Joe Anderson, Hannibal Ruiz, Frankie Debusk, Willie Anderson, Kevin Westin, Chris Nicely, Preston Latham and Bryce Ball.

The family would like to extend special gratitude to Dr. Claes Svendsen and SoFHA staff, Fresenius Kidney Care, EMS, GCH ER Dept, Holston Valley D-ICU unit and DR. Robert Locklear.
