Lilly Winifred Shipley

She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and had a strong Christian faith.

She attended Russellville Church of God as long as her health permitted.

She is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law: Doug and Teresa Shipley of Afton, Mike and Debbie Shipley of Mohawk; grandchildren: Christy Carter, April Grindstaff and husband Chad, Dennis Shipley; great grandchildren: Abby and Ally Carter, Ethan and Ryland Grindstaff; one sister: Brenda Bowers; two sisters-in-law: Joan Schroer, and Brenda Reed; one brother-in-law: Tommy Shipley; and several nieces and nephews.

She was the daughter of the late Ardell and Opal Babb. She was preceded in death by her husband: Charles J. Shipley.

Pallbearers will be family and friends.

The family will receive friends from 2-4 pm Sunday at Kiser-Rose Hill Funeral Home. A graveside service will be held at 4:30 pm at Pleasant Vale Cemetery with Rev. Rick Bradbury and Rev. Nick Bailey officiating. Interment will follow at Pleasant Vale cemetery.

Kiser-Rose Hill Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
