Dear Kim and Courtney,

George and I are heart broken about your loss of Joe.
We know how difficult this time is for you both.
He was such a dedicated husband and father and so proud to be with Courtney always.

Joe was a very special talented hard working man with great character.  He had an amazing spirit and touched so many with his presence. 
We enjoyed hearing his opinions on things, and his sense of humor.

We cherish our memories of the times we spent with your entire family, and loved helping with your  horses.

We wish to send our sincerest condolences to the entire Mack family. We first met years ago through the BSA. Scott was then the District Executive for Phoxcam. Please know that you are in our thoughts and prayers at this time.

Joe was a man of 'steel and velvet.' He loved and protected my daughter, Kim, and granddaughter, Courtney. I couldn't have asked for a better husband for my daughter, or a more loving father for my granddaughter. We will miss Joe for as long as we walk this earth, and be grateful for the wonderful addition he was to our family for so long. His life was an example of the true measure of a man.

It was nice knowing such a kind hearted person.  You will be missed. Your family will be in our prayers. God bless you all.

Dear Kim and Courtney, 

Since news of Joe's passing, our hearts have been filled with pain and sadness. There is no way that we can possibly grasp the depths of your grief but hope that in time and with the support of each other, family and friends your hearts can become lighter again. 

The nobility of Joe is immense and will live on forever. Since the day we met you both, it has always been apparent that Joe's top priority was the love and loyalty he had for the two of you. Joes's contagious smile, sense of humor, sincere kindness and humble demeanor will forever be missed by Ken and myself. 

Last Christmas, being surrounded by our big happy family, was one of the best for us in years. Thank you for taking us in and making our day so joyful. We still remember Joe greeting us in his socks on the cold front porch with his beautiful and enormous smile. After spending time with Courtney that day, Ken, Mom, Jack and I discussed how beautifully you and Joe nurtured and cared for her. Courtney, you have grown into a beautiful young lady with wit and true grit that resembles your father. 

Joe, just being around you always made us smile and laugh a lot because you were always smiling and cracking jokes while remaining so positive. We love you, you will always be in our hearts and now serve as a daily reminder of appreciating family and the simple pleasures of everyday life. Thank you for being such a good man. Rest In Peace.

I would like to send my thought and prayers to the both of you. I met Joe thru my Husband Jason Ray. He was his shop manager at R&L in Louisville.  I have to say he was one of the nicest, hard-working, and funniest guys I have ever met. He was always smiling and laughing. I know he and Jason were friends. We are both saddened by this. I know God will give you strength. I pray for comfort for you both. I am so sorry for your loss of such a kind heart. I can't imagine what you are going thru. I am sure your heart is broken. If it is any consilation, when Joe spoke of you both he lit up. He loved you both so much that showed when he talk about you both to my husband and I. He will be missed.
