So sorry to hear of the passing of Janice. She and I attended four years of high school together. She was a special lady that always had a smile and will be greatly missed. God gained a special angel when He called her home.  Rest In Peace until we meet again on that Heavenly shore.

Miss janice will be truly missed I worked with her at numark and when I first met her she had a smile on her face she always wore a smile no matter what she was truly a woman of faith and I am glad to say I had her as a friend RIP my dear friend you will be missed love you always

I worked with Janice at Far. The first time I meet her I knew she was a special person. She had the most communing voice. I would have known that voice anywhere. Love you Miss Janice. 

So many good memories of Janice Ruth and it is hard to think that we will not see that sweet smile again .She was so helpful with the history of the Houston family and was always telling us great stories at our reunions. She really made a difference in our lives and we are grateful for the times we had together. 
We hope her family knows how special she was to so many people and the memories will help carry you through this sad time .

I had the joy of meeting Janice 15+ years ago.  My mother worked at with Janice at NuMark.  Mom always spoke highly of Janice and was forever making something to take to Janice.  This friendship was a 2-way street, as Janice very frequently asked about my mother, and often would bring some small token of their friendship.

The world was a better place because of Janice, and the paths she crossed will have an empty space.

Janice Ruth was a Special Lady & she was my cousin. She called me often & we would have a great time. She gave me history on my Mom’s side Houston’s. It was so good to see her at our family reunions. She always had something for me on our family. I Loved her with all my heart ❤️. She will be greatly missed. Jesus has another Angel. Prayers for Family. Gone But Never For Gotten. 

She was a very special Lady and my 1st cousin She always brought a smile to you  and we will truly miss her I also want to send condolences from her Aunt Nellie  Houston Smith We loved her so much and always looked forward to seeing her at the Family Reunion.  I would love to attend the services but I'm not sure I can get Nellie there as she is 95 yrs old. If we do not make it know our Prayers and heart's are with you all and love too all of you She is in a better place then we are until we meet again she will live on in our memories and hearts forever. 

Janice was always so kind hearted and always smileing.  She will be greatly missed.   


Love talking to her when  we  went to buy eggs from her.  We talk about the Bible  and our families. She was always so nice and easy to talk to.

Janice was one of the sweetest, most patient, and kindest persons that we have ever known.  She had a sterling and caring personality.  Indeed, her love of her family is part of the legacy that she will leave behind.  Our hearts are broken for the family; we send prayers, love, and sympathy in the coming months!
