Helen Romaine Brown

Helen Romaine Brown, 90, a life-long resident of Greeneville, passed away peacefully in her home August 16, 2016. She was born to the late Bruce and Mattie (Peters) Sluder on October 10, 1925. She had five brothers and two sisters.

Helen was the mother of two sons, William Cannon, who acted as her caregiver, and the late Michael Cannon. She leaves behind grandchildren and several great grandchildren. Helen will be greatly missed by daughter-in-law, Karen Cannon, and special friend and caregiver, Christine Gilbert.

Helen worked many jobs throughout her life. She worked at Greene Valley for 30 years, where she retired.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, August 20, from 12pm-2pm at Kiser-Rose Hill Funeral Home in Greeneville for family and friends. A graveside service will be held directly following at Bradburn Hill Cemetery.
