He was a transport driver.
Mr. Jones was a member of Ducks Unlimited.
Survivors include his wife and best friend of 29 years: Mitzi Jones; a brother and sister-in-law: Charles “Bucky” and Mitzi Jones; a sister and brother-in-law: Sandi and Ray Watson; mother-in-law: Bertie Ricker McGill and husband, Neal; sister-in-law: Connie Jones and husband, Jerry, all of Greeneville; brother-in-law: Kenneth Ricker and wife, Melinda, of Simpsonville, South Carolina; much loved nieces and nephews: Garrison King, Scot Watson, Brad Jones and wife, Kim, all of Greeneville; a niece and goddaughter: Alexandria Ricker of Simpsonville, South Carolina; much loved great niece and great nephew: Austin Jones and Brynlee Jones; and his special “little buddies”: Raven and Buddy.
He was the son of the late Charles and Alice Marie Jones and was preceded in death by his father-in-law, Paul Joe Ricker; several aunts and uncles; and his pets, Izzy, Molly and Macy.
The family will receive friends 2-4 and 6-8 pm Sunday at Kiser-Rose Hill Funeral Home.
Following visitation, the funeral service will be held at 8 pm Sunday in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Dr. Jim Fields and Rev. Tommy Collins officiating.
Interment will be at 10 am Monday in Pine Grove Cemetery. Family and friends are asked to meet at 9 am Monday at the funeral home to go in procession to the cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Scot Watson, Brad Jones, Garrison King, John Luke Myers, Kip Jones and Dwayne Fillers.
Honorary Pallbearers are Arvin Fillers, Austin Jones, Keith Dyer, and family and friends of East Tennessee Medical Transport.
