He was formerly the industrial electrical superintendant for Nitro Electric Co. in Nitro, W.Va.
Mr. Kelley attended Harris Memorial Free Will Baptist Church.
He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy and a member of Local 934, International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers.
Survivors include: his wife: Linda D. Kelley; a son and daughter-in-law: Chuck and Windy Hensley of Greeneville; a daughter and son-in-law: Craig and Amanda Moorhouse of Gray; one grandson: Clayton Moorhouse of Gray; one granddaughter: Audrey Moorhouse of Gray; his mother: Roberta Kelley Estepp of Limestone; three brothers and two sisters-in-law: Jackson Kelley of China, Roger and Louise Kelley of Greeneville, and David and Vickie Kelley of Powell; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father, the Rev. Jesse Paul Kelley.
The family will receive friends at Kiser-Rose Hill Funeral Home from 5-7 p.m. Saturday and from 1-3 p.m. Sunday preceding the funeral service at 3 o'clock in the funeral home chapel.
The Rev. Ken Smith and the Rev. Richard Moorhouse will officiate.
Interment will follow in GreeneLawn Memory Gardens.
Pallbearers will be Lane Ferguson, Charlie Ferguson, Bobby Wells, Jerry Ripley, J.C, Kelley, and David Weems.
Honorary pallbearers will be Fred Kloosterman, Tom Wilson, Pete Ferguson, Grant Russell, Steve Trotter, and Bruce Caudill.
