Dorothy Mae Shelton

She is survived by her cousins: Helen Dotson, Margaret Ann Southerland, Gaynell Spooner, Janice Bohannon, Wayne Southerland, Jackie Shelton, Gary Shelton, Rickey Shelton, Kim Ottinger, Connie Walsh and Joy Dotson. Several other cousins also survive, including special cousin, Mark Ricker. She is also survived by her special pets: Gus and Lady; and a special friend, Sherry Howard.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Richard and Bonnie Gay Shelton; a brother, Kelso Richard Shelton; maternal grandparents, Kelso and Cora Mae King; paternal grandparents, Manley and Martha Shelton; uncles and aunts: Louise Southerland, Eva and Mike Kozel, Hilda Shelton, Gene Shelton, Vertie Fox, Madeline Crum, Carson (Curley) Shelton, Loren and Laura Shelton, Merrill Shelton, Geraldine Shelton, Manley Shelton, Jr. (Jack) and Ursie and Laduskie Shelton; very special cousins: Imogene Hinkle, Kenny Roller (who was like a brother to her), Sandra Honaker and Dee Morrell; and a very special great aunt, Gay Anderson.

The family will receive friends 2:00-4:00 and 5:00-7:00 pm Tuesday at Kiser-Rose Hill Funeral Home. The funeral service will then be held at 7:00 pm Tuesday in the funeral home chapel. The Rev. Steve Hux and Rev. Bobby Morrison will officiate.

Interment will be conducted 2:00 pm Wednesday at Horse Creek Church of God Cemetery. Family and friends are asked to meet at the funeral home 1:00 pm to go in procession to the cemetery. Pallbearers will be Gary Shelton, Rickey Shelton, Dudley Spooner, Will Walsh, Paul Beals and Mark Ricker.
