Dorothy Mae Morris

She was a former employee of the Austin Company and of the Magnavox Company.

Mrs. Morris was of the Christian faith.

Her family states, “She completed the eighth grade at the former Greeneville Junior High School. She loved spending time with family and friends.”

Survivors include her husband of 48 years: Lloyd Morris; a son and very special friend: Neal Morris and Tammy Payne, of Greeneville; a sister: Bernice Dean of Greeneville ; a special niece: Beth Hensley ; a special friend: Ila Lafollette;

numerous nieces and nephews.

She was the daughter of the late Walter and Emma Lee Dean and was preceded in death by a brother, Lacy Dean; two sisters, Lois Foshie and Betty Johnson

The funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, August 11, 2010, at Kiser – Rose Hill Chapel. Rev. Buster Shelton

will officiate. Interment will follow in Oak Grove Cemetery in Greeneville.

Pallbearers will be Chris Johnson, Randy Johnson, Rick Hensley, Walter Morris, Charlie Garber, David Lewis, and Cecil Hopson. Honorary pallbearers will be the staff if Amedisis Hospice, the ICU nurses and staff at Laughlin Memorial Hospital.

The family will receive friends 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Tuesday at Kiser Rose Hill Funeral Home. the Morris family at
