Dennis joined the ARMY in October of 1965, served in the Vietnam War as an ammunition specialist, and was honorably discharged in October of 1967.
SPC Cain is preceded in death by the love of his life, Barbara Ann Cain.
Dennis is survived by his daughter, Melissa and Kirk Radtke and grandchildren: Kalah Krogmann, Wyley, Jake, Charlie, and Alex Radtke; his son, Michael and Melissa Cain and grandson, Logan Cain; his daughter, Kristin Cain, Kurt Knutson and granddaughter, Charlette Knutson; his daughter, Courtney and Taz Spence, granddaughter, Nina and Indiana Calloway, and grandson, Tyler Sherman; special family: Susan Tollefsen, Matthew Tollefsen, and Dana Bohm; and special friends: Paul Picard, Karl Banner, and Charles Harmon.
The family will receive friends 4:00-8:00 pm Sunday, December 29, 2024, at Kiser-Rose Hill Funeral Home.
There will be an interment at Mountain Home National Cemetery at a later date.
