Deborah was a woman of faith, who loved the Lord. She traveled to church, alongside her husband of forty-two years, the Rev. Michael Dixon, to various churches for decades. She was loved by all that had the pleasure of knowing her. She will be sadly missed.
She was a homemaker and a member of Limestone Fellowship Free Will Baptist Church.
In addition to her husband, she is also survived by her daughter, Candace Ford; two grandchildren, Hannah (Richard) Tarleton and Caydence Duncan; great grandson, Richard Dean (Lynnie)Tarleton; a brother, Doug Presley; a sister, Lisa Porter (Jeff); five sisters-in-law: Carolyn Dixon, Vickie (Earl) Bailey, Mary Dixon Cutshaw, Teresa (Brian) Hawk, and Pamela Dixon; two brothers-in-law: Timothy Dixon an Travis Dixon; several nieces and nephews, including nephew, Tracy Foshie of the home; several aunts, uncles and cousins.
She was preceded in death by a son, Casey Lynn Dixon; her parents, Dwight and Louise Presley; brother, Ricky (Porky)Presley; her mother and father-in-law, Guy and Bertha Dixon; and sisters-in-law, Nancy Presley and Kathy Bailey; and brother-in-law, Jerry Bailey.
The family will receive friends 2:00-4:00 pm and 6:00-8:00 pm Wednesday at Kiser-Rose Hill Funeral Home. The funeral service will be held 1:00 pm Thursday in the funeral home chapel with interment to follow at GreeneLawn Memory Gardens. The Rev. Eric Spencer will officiate.
Pallbearers will be Richard Tarleton, Scottie Sexton, Marcus Foshie, Tim Dixon, Jason Bailey, Travis Dixon. Honorary pallbearer is Tracey Foshie.
The family would like to extend special thanks to Dr. Robert Sterling and Amedisys Hospice Care, especially nurse, Kathy Duncan.
