She was a retired bookkeeper for Laughlin Memorial Hospital.
She was a member of Meadow Creek Presbyterian Church.
Aunt Charlsie was compassionate about piecing quilts. All of her family has received quilts that she pieced, including Riley who is two years old. She also pieced many quilts that were given to Cedar Creek Presbyterian Church for their annual Lord’s Acre Sale. Aunt Charlsie loved her family and their children. After the passing of her husband, Eugene in March 2014, she moved back to the family farm with Vickie. She was excited in spending her days with all the kids who called her “Mamaw Charlsie”. We will all miss her cooking, especially her candy at Christmas.
