Giki was a homemaker and a member of Mt. Bethel Church.
Her family states, “Giki, as she was known by her grandchildren, loved life and her family. She put the Lord first and loved her children with all her heart.”
She is survived by her husband of 57 years: Jack Boles; three daughters and sons-in-law: Gail and George Blankenship, Pamela and Steve Bentley, Terri Lynn and Jamie Gulley; a son and daughter-in-law: Brian and Jackie Boles; grandchildren: Christopher Robinson, Cathy Brown, Lt. Jack Blankenship, Joshua Mackey, Randy Boles, B. J. Boles, Austin Boles, Hannah Gulley, Isaiah Gulley, Kim Lloyd, Kenya Lloyd, and Kellie Lloyd; great grandchildren: Hunter Robinson, Abigail Mackey, Sophie Mackey,Blaine Boles; her extended family: Gwen, Lorena, Costa, Beverly, Michelle, Vernon Ray; several special nieces and nephews; and special friends: Jack and Lela Gosnell, Charles and Charlotte Hoover, and Faye Harrison and family.
She was the daughter of the late Andy and Bonnie Aikens and was preceded in death by a son, Kevin Dale Boles; and a daughter, Linda Louise Franklin.
The family will receive friends 5-8 p.m. Friday at Kiser Rose Hill Funeral Home. The funeral service will be at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, July 3, 2010, in Kiser-Rose Hill Chapel with Rev. Denny Cutshall officiating. Entombment will follow in GreeneLawn Mausoleum.
Her pallbearers are Christopher Robinson, Joshua Mackey, Randy Boles, B. J. Boles, Mitch Galloway, and Mack Galloway. Her honorary pallbearers are Lt. Jack Blankenship, Prince Floyd, Tim Tipton, Tyler Cobb, and Shawn Smith.
