Mary Louise Cash

Born December 25, 1929 in Putnam County, she was the daughter of Charles Lee and Cora Ethel (Suiter) Keck. Mary was a graduate of Bainbridge High School Class of “1948”. She married Donald G. Cash on March 11, 1951 and he preceded her in death on December 5, 2000.

Mary was born and raised on a farm, she loved being a farm wife and helping on the farm in her younger years. She loved to be outdoors working in the garden and with her flowers. She enjoyed cooking, sewing, home decorating and the Indiana Pacers. She really enjoyed listening to gospel music and studying the bible.

She was a member of First Christian Church Disciples of Christ and a charter member of Club 16 for over 60 years.

She was preceded in death by her husband; parents; a brother, Herbert Keck; and a sister, Audrey Thompson.

Mary was happy when she was around small children and spending time with family and friends. She is survived by her sister-in-law, nieces, nephews and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, May 6, 2023 at the Hopkins-Rector Funeral Home. Interment will follow at the Fillmore Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 12 noon on Saturday until time of service on Saturday at the funeral home.

Memorial contributions may be made in memory of Mary to the American Cancer Society or Riley Children’s Hospital.
