Janet Lee Patterson

Janet Lee Patterson, 63, passed away Friday, September 27, 2019, at her residence surrounded by her family, friends and her cat Buttons.
Janet was born in Putnam County on May 13, 1956, the daughter of Jack and Wanda (Hurst) Patterson, and was a 1975 graduate of South Putnam High School.
Miss Patterson was a member of New Providence Baptist Church. She was a dedicated employee with Wendy’s Restaurant for 17 years, working most of her life in the food service industry.
Survivors include her sister, Jackie Bond, (husband-Sam), Springville; her brother, Chris E. Patterson, (wife-Vicki), Greencastle; two nephews, Chris Bond, (wife-Gergana), Arlington, Virginia, and Jared Bond, (wife-Hannah), Indianapolis; and a great nephew, Alexander Bond; Arlington, Virginia.
Janet was preceded in death by her parents; and her grand-parents, Alton and Elizabeth Hurst.
Services will be held 1:00 p.m. Thursday, October 3, 2019, at Hopkins-Rector Funeral Home. Burial will follow in New Providence Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. until time of service on Thursday.
