Charles Edward Musgrave

Charles E. Musgrave, 76, of Greencastle passed away on Sunday, October 22, 2023, at the Waters of Greencastle.
Charles was born in Martinsville on May 21, 1947, the son of Earl Edgar and Nettie Alice Musgrave, and was a graduate of Eminence High School in Martinsville.
Mr. Musgrave proudly served in the United States Army. He worked for many years as a tool and Die Maker for IAC, and was a life-long farmer. Charles was a former member of the American Legion, and was also a member of the UAW. He enjoyed doing Sudoku and watching YouTube Videos. Most of all he loved spending time with his wife Sylvia.
Survivors include his wife of 14 years, Sylvia Musgrave; three sons, Edward E. Musgrave, (Angie), William Joseph Musgrave, (Selina), and Charles Melvin Musgrave, (Evette); a daughter, Tonya Musgrave; a step-son, Jeffrey Goodpaster; a sister Betty Ann Musgrave; a brother, Lee Musgrave; five grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; two sons, Scott Gregory Musgrave, and Derrick Allen Musgrave; a brother, John Musgrave; and a sister, Eleanor.
Services will be held 10:00 a.m. Saturday, October 28, 2023, at Hopkins-Rector Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. on Friday, October 27, 2023 or one hour prior to time of service on Saturday.
