Zachariah Daniel Kauffman

Zachariah was raised in Gilcrest, graduating from Valley High School. He received his Associate’s degree from Aims Community College. He worked as a chef at Billy Simms Barbeque. He loved his job and they loved him. They made him a part of their family.

Zachariah served on the Board of Trustees in Gilcrest for one term. He took pride in getting the lead role of the Wizard, in the Wizard of Oz production during his Senior year of high school. Zachariah enjoyed cooking and catering. He was just a happy person who always wore a smile.

Zachariah is survived by his mom, Karyn Kauffman; dad, Calvin Kauffman; sister, Nicole Haskett; brother, Nash Kauffman; grandparents, Herman and Luella Kauffman of Gilcrest and Dorothy Haskett of Greeley; Godparents, Jeff and Shelley Cogburn of Gilcrest and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Robert Haskett.
