Thelma Culver age 95 of King City, Missouri, formerly of Greeley, died Saturday, October 2, 2010 at the King City Manor in King City, Missouri. She was born September 17, 1915 to Henry and Iva (Kier) Cook.
Thelma was a 1933 graduate of King City High School and moved to Greeley in 1961 where she worked 20 years at North Colorado Medical Center. She loved her job, especially working in the emergency room. She was a member of the Milliken Presbyterian Church and the Senior Center of Milliken.
Thelma is survived by her son Gary Culver (Bev) of King City, Missouri; daughter Connie Dilka of Greeley; grandchildren, Cory Culver (Kristen) of Virginia, Troy Culver (Sonia) of Iowa, Ashley Zinkus (Tim) of Kansas City, Missouri, Scott Dilka of Greeley, Karmen Ross (Floyd) of Independence Missouri, Kyle (Teresa) Askins of King City, Kris Adolf (Joe) of Kersey and Kent Askins of Kansas City, Missouri; Thirteen great-grandchildren Ericka Fresquez, Tressa Adolf, Paul Durbin, Seth Durbin, Dana Askins, Jaimee Askins, Kalynn Culver, Ryann Culver, Jackson Culver, Savanna Culver, Trevor Zinkus, Sidney Zinkus and Jacob Zinkus; great-great grandchildren Briella Nava and an expected baby girl at Thanksgiving.
Preceded in death by her parents; sister, Lorene Johnson; brother Leonard Cook; daughter Carol Askins and a granddaughter Kelly Askins.
Visitation 5-7 p.m. Friday at Stoddard Funeral Home. Funeral service 10:30 a.m. Saturday at the Milliken Presbyterian Church. Interment Sunset Memorial Gardens.
