She was born on September 15, 1941 to Harold Arthur Jervis and Lilian Maude (Cox) Jervis in the small village of Broughton, Northamptonshire, England. She was the fourth child of five in the family. Rosina attended schools in Broughton, completing her last year at Rockingham Road Secondary School in Kettering, England.
She met the love of her life, her husband, Ronald Green and then daughter Zorina Green. The family moved to Gill, Colorado in October 1972 then moved to Kersey, Colorado in 1974. Rosina was a bookkeeper for Ronald’s welding business; she also helped him with the welding at local dairy farms.
Rosina loved walking, camping in the mountains, nature and animals. She loved the many family dogs in her life. Rosina enjoyed reading, especially the bible that she read daily. Rosina taught Sunday school at Kersey Community Church and was a 4H leader for several years.
Rosina was survived by her husband Ronald and daughter Zorina. Also survived by two sisters Carole (Orbel) Benavidez and Gloria Anderson, and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her two brothers Lawrence Jervis and Gerald “Joe” Jervis, brother in law Raymond Anderson, sister in laws Eve Jervis and Janet Jervis.
The family would like to thank the doctors, nurses and staff at the following locations for the great care Rosina received in her last 2 months of her life, UC Health Greeley, Pathways Hospice and Storybrooke Memory Care. Private cremation will take place with no services at this time.
