Dear Gramie, You and Bob had such a special relationship and life together! He always had great advice and kind words to say to everyone. I loved the hikes in Estes Park, the tennis in Palm Desert, the card games around the kitchen table. He will be greatly missed.  Sending you a big HUG! Love, Barbara

I discovered Robert in my genealogy research and discovered how gracious he was.  He was as helpful as he could be; I have kept all his letters. He wrote elequently.  He gave me a whole new impression of the Winklers.  Now, I regret very much not traveling to Colorado to visit; he invited me so often. He always spoke of you in his letters.  He spoke very highly of you; he must have cared for you a lot.  If I can be of any assistance please call or write.
