Robert “Bobby” Alaniz, 60, of Greeley, CO, passed away Wednesday, November 8, 2023 at Hospice of Northern Colorado inpatient unit in Greeley. He was born December 4, 1962 in Greeley to Antero Alaniz Sr. and Beatriz (Martinez) Alaniz.
Bobby worked in farming in Oregon, Colorado and Texas. He drove semi-trucks for Huskies and FFE Trucking until he no longer could. Bobby enjoyed playing Tejano music as loud as possible, he also enjoyed dancing and collecting eagles, native knickknacks and jewelry.
Bobby is survived by his two children, Derick Sanchez of Indiana and Elva Iris Alaniz of Eagle Pass, TX; six grandchildren, Ava and Cruz Sanchez, Tadeo and Emiliano Garza and Sylvester and Mia Gonzalez; one sister, Ernestina Medina of Greeley and two brothers, Oscar Alaniz Sr. of Onterio, OR And Eddie Alaniz of Greeley.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Antero Alaniz, Sr. and Beatriz (Martinez) Alaniz and his siblings, Carlos Alaniz, Sr., Olga Rivas, Antero Alaniz, Jr. and Raul Alaniz, Sr.
