Rachel Reyher, 88, of Greeley, died June 5, 2013 at Bonell Good Samaritan Center. She was born December 30, 1924 in Wiley, Colorado to Henry and Mary (Schmidt) Weimer. She was raised and educated in Southeast Colorado.
Rachel married Wilbur Reyher on July 4, 1941 in Kansas. They moved to Longmont in 1964 later moving to Greeley. She was a member of First Church of the Nazarene in Greeley and belonged to the ladies group at church which she thoroughly enjoyed.
Rachel loved to keep her home sparkling clean and playing the organ. She enjoyed gardening, yard work, tending to her roses and helping things grow. Above all, she enjoyed the time with her family.
Rachel is survived by her daughter Christine Marie (Dan) Gogerty of Greeley; sons Kenneth Lee (Janet) Reyher of Olathe, Colorado and Leonard Leroy (Gwen) Reyher of San Antonio, Texas; sister Esther Annett; grandchildren Marc Reyher, Donna (Mike) Will, Allen (Michele) Reyher, Kevin (Dahlia) Reyher, Geoff (Andy) Schweger and 9 great grandchildren. She was preceded by her husband Wilbur, five sisters and three brothers.
Visitation will be held from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m., Monday, June 10 at Stoddard Funeral Home. Funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m., Tuesday, June 11 at First Church of the Nazarene 2515 W 16th Street, Greeley, Colorado 80634. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens.
